Prince’s family are reportedly developing a reality TV show

The show will apparently focus on how the icon’s family’s “lives have changed since he died”

Prince‘s family are developing a new reality TV show, according to reports.

The late icon’s estate recently sued to block the release a new EP of unreleased recordings called ‘Deliverance’ that dated from around 10 years ago. A court has since ordered George Ian Boxill, a producer involved in the release, to hand the recordings over to the musician’s family.

Boxill is still contesting the result, but TMZ has reported the reason Prince’s relatives want those recordings is so they can use them in a planned reality TV show. The programme is allegedly in the early development stages with a production company in place, but no network signed on as yet.

According to the website, the show will “focus on how their lives have changed since he died.”

Meanwhile, a reissue of Prince’s classic album ‘Purple Rain’ has been announced.

According to fansite, the full tracklist, plus bonus tracks for the remastered landmark LP has been unveiled.

The tracks have apparently been carefully transferred from the stereo masters at Paisley Park, and mastered by Bernie Grundman — the mastering engineer who worked on the original album.

The reissue will also include a concert film recorded in Syracuse on March 30, 1985, with audio remastered by Grundman.

Warner Bros. Records recently announced that it will be remastering the ‘Purple Rain’ reissue.

They also announced plans to release two new concert films, all of which are to be released on June 9.

According to a press release, Warner Bros. Records wrote: “When we make any of Prince’s music available to fans – from the hits to unreleased gems – we are committed to upholding Prince’s high creative standards and we know fans will be thrilled when they hear these albums and see these films.”
